It was a steady March rain that brought my two companions and me into the CoVino restaurant in Venice. Little did we know that we had discovered a gem that had been favorably reviewed by the New York Times in recent weeks. Thanks to the downpour, there was one of the six tables open. Our waiter Andreas kept us laughing and well fed the entire evening. A true gourmet would detail the delights of every morsel (I'll leave that to the Times). For me, the atmosphere and service will bring me back!
